for new houses with builder selected whirlpool?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not sure why do they make the cast-iron grates so high that most of the time you waste 80% of the energy. Bad for the environment and bad for your pocket. I did not select these products but builder has a deal with whirlpool for clearing out their inventory. I (almost all the buyers in the development have issues with their appliances. They are pushed into Warranty phase on day one, you can not refund/upgrade. You are suck with it. If you are buying a house don't fall for these words "we cover it fully" it means we will keep repairing it or telling you that it is not supported and after 12 months you are stuck with a worthless appliance.)

Easy to clean

I love how quickly this heats up, how powerful the flame is and how easy it is to clean (we have messy cooks in my household!). The power burner and the simmer burner are new to me and I look forward to using them often.

Nice cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice cooktop, it was in my new home. I've used it for a month and mostly like it. I have put in a service call because there is only one burner that actually has a simmer temp. The other 3 burners do not get low enough to simmer, they just continue to boil the food, so stay too hot. I'm hoping it's just an adjustment.

I was pleasantly surprised upon how easy it was to clean and no streaks. The back left simmer burner is fantastic. Keeps food warm without burning. Great for a defrost method as well.
